Sietse & Jacqueline Voogt - November 2014
We have had a great holiday in YBeudy in october. The cottage was perfect and we felt so welcome. Coming all the way from Holland and not used to drive on your mountainroads it was so great to arrive in such a beautiful, warm cottage. Sioned welcomed us so warm and friendly. And what an amazing view! We'll certainly come back next october. Thank you so much for this perfect holiday.
Guest from stayed at Tyddyn Lliw for 4 nights in August 2015 Very impressive and well presented accommodation. Everything was immaculate and the tranquil surroundings was bliss. The hot tub was well used and there were lots of nice touches from bathrobes to cakes to tea coffee and milk. I would recommend this to couples or families.
Carreg y Nant - May 2015
Dear Sioned We just wanted to thank you for the great time we had in Wales. Your Cottage is a deluxe experience, it was clean and perfect for us and our 2 teenagers( 11 and 13), it was equipped with everything a family could possibly need. My children loved having the en-suite. The outside hot tub has been so successful that we are contemplating on buying one. It was so relaxing to sit in there chatting about our days experience and planning the next day out, whilst my husband was attending to the barbeque. The rain did not dampen our spirits this time we just took a dive in 40 degrees of bliss. We loved the animals walking around, the chicken family and Dolly the sheep with her little lamb and especially the little dog who looked like a real life teddy bear. My daughter loved him. It was lovely to see the little lights go out on the hills we had a great view from our living room. The nights were so quiet you could hear a pin drop we slept really well – using the cottage as a hub we visited the Copper mines, Snowdonia and the Slate mines we even had a stab at canoeing in Bala lake and went on many walks to explore the surroundings. We needed all this coming from a stressful London Life, it was the perfect break. Shame we could not stay longer. We are already planning to come back next year ! Thank you for your hospitality and the home made welsh cakes delicious with a good helping of butter and of course the duck eggs ! amser gwych ! Fam London
Claire Perkins - October 2012
We stayed in Y Beudy for the weekend at the end of September 2012 with close friends. We were 2 families with 4 children aged 5-9. This converted barn has been decorated and furnished to an excellent standard providing comfortable and relaxing accommodation that we would love to return to. The views from the property are outstanding, in particular from the galleried bedroom and hot tub outside. Sioned is a fantastically warm and helpful host. If we stayed longer we would definitely try the home cooking she offers next time. We were able to look around the other cottages and have these in mind for a future family gathering. It is excellent accommodation in a beautiful part of North Wales where there is loads for families to do.
March 2015 - We have been every year for the last 5 years for our wedding anniversary. The cottage is fantastic, the hot tub looking down over the valley is amazing to sit and watch the world go by. We always have a very relaxing stay. Would recommend 100%
Melissa. Christmas 2014. Y Beudy
We stayed at the Y Beudy cottage for our post Christmas break for 3 nights, there was 4 adults and 2 children (aged 6 & 3) when we arrived there was mince pies waiting for us the cottage itself was lovely, clean and very spacious. There is a large living room and kitchen and another sitting room. All 3 of the bedrooms where a good size especially the one that sleeps 3 which was great for children. All of the bathrooms where good size family bathrooms and there is also a downstairs toilet. Outside there is a decked area which is where the hot tub is situated which was great and a grassed area all of which is private. Sioned came to visit the cottage on the first day to see if we had settled in and if we needed anything she is lovely and very friendly. Needless to say we will defiantly be coming back here at some point next year. Thank you very much Love Melissa and family x
Andrea from Birkenhead stayed at Tyddyn Lliw for 3 nights in December 2015 What a beautiful place, we couldn't have asked for anything nicer. It's such a gorgeous cottage. Very highly recommended. Lovely owner too. The views are outstanding. We had a very good time during our stay including making a "Christmas Day" for our selfs. We even spent time in the hot tub, yes the hot tub in December. If your thinking about booking this place then I would say "do it!" I have also stayed in the larger cottage too which is equally as gorgeous.
June 2015 - Stayed here for 2 nights, weather was horrendous on one of the days but the cottage is really comfortable so spent the day relaxing watching films and gazing out of the patio doors at the brilliant scenery. Would definitely return, comfortable, clean and a brilliant place to get away and relax for a few days
Carreg y Nant
Salena from stayed at Carreg y Nant for 7 nights in September 2015 Absolutely loved this cottage. It has everything you need, is so comfortable & relaxing and the view is wonderful. The hot tub is brilliant - it's great to sit in there and look up at the stars. The location for us is perfect. Up a country lane and in its own grounds - It's so peaceful but only a 10 minute drive into Bala town, with the local village (and pub) being about a mile away. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the home made cake on arrival was a real treat. We had a fantastic holiday here and will definitely be back.
