Donna Welling - March 2013
We went to Bala cottages for my 30th birthday and stayed in Y Beudy. The whole family came along including three young children. We were amazed at the beauty of the cottage, especially the open plan of the cottage. It was very spacious, had it's own hot tub and the surrounding area/environment was breathtaking. When we arrived there was homemade cake waiting for us and the owner even popped in to welcome us. There was lots to do including visiting Bala town and lake and going on long walks in the countryside. The only problem was we hadn't booked to stay longer!!! We would definitely recommend these cottages.
Carreg y Nant
Guest from stayed at Carreg y Nant for 4 nights in June 2015 Lovely cottage in a stunning location. Very cosy, private and peaceful, with stunning views and an awesome hot tub! Super friendly owners, ducks, horses and chickens - including a couple of cute foals no less! We'd definitely come again. Oh, and you get a homemade cake on arrival - what more could you ask for?
Sietse & Jacqueline Voogt - November 2014
We have had a great holiday in YBeudy in october. The cottage was perfect and we felt so welcome. Coming all the way from Holland and not used to drive on your mountainroads it was so great to arrive in such a beautiful, warm cottage. Sioned welcomed us so warm and friendly. And what an amazing view! We'll certainly come back next october. Thank you so much for this perfect holiday.
June 2015 - Relaxing in the Hot Tub looking up at Aran Benllyn which we had climbed earlier in the day, we could forget all the trivial issues that usually seem so important for a few restful days. A clean simple cottage in a beautiful location, with the added luxury of a frequently used hot tub, where there were four days of uninterrupted sunshine. Is it always like this in Wales?
Dawn from stayed at Tyddyn Lliw for 3 nights in November 2015 This is our 3rd time back, we love this cosy place, it has everything we want & love the hot tub. The cottage we stay in has the open plan living space upstairs & bedrooms downstairs, next door is the opposite so you never hear your neighbours
Andrea from Birkenhead stayed at Tyddyn Lliw for 3 nights in December 2015 What a beautiful place, we couldn't have asked for anything nicer. It's such a gorgeous cottage. Very highly recommended. Lovely owner too. The views are outstanding. We had a very good time during our stay including making a "Christmas Day" for our selfs. We even spent time in the hot tub, yes the hot tub in December. If your thinking about booking this place then I would say "do it!" I have also stayed in the larger cottage too which is equally as gorgeous.
Claire Perkins - October 2012
We stayed in Y Beudy for the weekend at the end of September 2012 with close friends. We were 2 families with 4 children aged 5-9. This converted barn has been decorated and furnished to an excellent standard providing comfortable and relaxing accommodation that we would love to return to. The views from the property are outstanding, in particular from the galleried bedroom and hot tub outside. Sioned is a fantastically warm and helpful host. If we stayed longer we would definitely try the home cooking she offers next time. We were able to look around the other cottages and have these in mind for a future family gathering. It is excellent accommodation in a beautiful part of North Wales where there is loads for families to do.
Paula from Prescot stayed at Y Beudy for 3 nights in March 2015 Our stay at Y Beudy was fantastic!! It had everything you needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay and more besides. We were made welcome by the owners and nothing was too much trouble to them. Couldn't fault the cottage... It was amazing with fantastic views and we were lucky enough to have glorious weather while we were there. Hot tub was excellent too. A Tiny village was walking distance away were the pub was the shop too. Bala town was a short drive away with shops and pubs. Ideal spot for seeing done of Wales or doing nothing but chill. We drove into Barmouth one day and the beautiful scenery of Snowdonia is on the door step. All in all we had a fantastic, long weekend and would recommend Y Beudy to anyone. ( please note that pets are not allowed) We would definitely go back !!

We had a wonderful break at this cottage. The surrounding scenery blew us away...it was so calming and peaceful ...Sioned was so helpful and friendly....telling us what places would be worth visiting and advising us on how to get there...the cottage was immaculate and modern and all the small touches made a difference. The hot tub was amazing too and made our break extra special. We went for a few walks close too the cottage. We drove to some lovely places. Sioned told us about a great waterfall too close by which we visited. We went to Portmeirion too and Harlech castle...we definitely will go back soon hopefully and stay longer.. Karen Cheshire
Catrin from stayed at Y Beudy for 2 nights in September 2015 We had a truly wonderful time at Bythynnod Bryn Caled celebrating my father's 60th birthday. There is everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, the rooms were all spotless and we had some relaxing soaks in the hot tub. Thank you very much! Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi!
April 2015 - we return as often as we can to Y Beudy; excellent for a family and for relaxation Highly recommended at any time of the year and good access to a range of activities etc
June 2015 - Stayed here for 2 nights, weather was horrendous on one of the days but the cottage is really comfortable so spent the day relaxing watching films and gazing out of the patio doors at the brilliant scenery. Would definitely return, comfortable, clean and a brilliant place to get away and relax for a few days
